Everyone arrived right on time Thursday, and we proceeded to the downtown area to find our hotel and register for the event.
After check-in, we started out on the “Skywalk Adventure” heading over to the Indiana Convention Center. Pokemon Nationals is located at the opposite end of the center this year, but we found our way over and quickly registered.
After a fun dinner with Gym Leader Marthe’s family who live nearby, we turned in for a good night’s sleep – ready for Nationals on Friday.
In total, 1523 players registered for the National Trading Card Game event. Masters were divided into two separate “flights” each of which will play 9 rounds and cut to a top 64. Seniors will play 9 rounds and cut to a top 64. Juniors will play 8 rounds and cut to a top 32.
